Jarosinski & Vaugoin
The renowned Viennese silversmiths Jarosinski & Vaugoin look back on over a century of tradition and have always stood for masterful craftsmanship and innovative design. Closely associated with the Wiener Werkstätte, Josef Hoffmann's designs in particular are among the company's most significant works. Hoffmann created iconic objects such as the clear and elegant five-piece tea service from 1928 and the filigree dessert cutlery for Lilly and Fritz Waerndorfer. The characteristic candlestick from the late 1920s with its striking hammered finish is another outstanding example. The combination of art and craftsmanship is still alive today at Jarosinski & Vaugoin – many of these designs are still manufactured with the utmost precision and can be found in important collections such as the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna.
