Architect, pupil of Otto Wagner
The son of a master carpenter, he trained at the State Trade School and from 1898 to 1901 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Otto Wagner. He then worked for the construction company Hoppe & Schönthaler and as a designer for Thonet.
