During the 1920s, Hoffmann created his "Pumpkin" coffee service for the Vienna "Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten" (Augarten porcelain factory). The design in silver, however, was much more successful, perhaps because of his closer affinity to the material itself. It was produced by the important Viennese silversmith Isidor C. Ritter von Klinkosch just before or just after the final bankruptcy of Wiener Werkstätte in 1932.
