This piece of furniture with its elegant clear lines, designed at the Hoffmann school of the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts in 1900, demonstrates how master and student mutually inspired each other. There were probably a number of designs like this, naturally, with variations. Thus, this piece differs from the design drawing in the fittings and proportions.
